Lasers are utilized to minimize the appearance of fine lines throughout the face, especially around the mouth and eyes. Generally, laser resurfacing is performed on the entire face and different types of lasers may be employed at the same time depending on the areas to be treated, skin texture and thickness of skin. If you have fair, healthy, non-oily skin, you are an ideal candidate for laser resurfacing.
Laser Resurfacing can enhance your appearance and will improve facial lines but will not prevent the aging process.
Laser Resurfacing can be performed at the same time as a Face Lift depending on the laser used but can also be performed 10 to 14 days after the surgery. With the CO2, Sciton or Erbium laser, the majority of female patients return to wearing make-up seven days following the procedure. With a Fractional laser or a MicroLaserPeel you may wear makeup three to four days after the procedure.

- Fine lines, especially around the eyes
- Vertical lines around the mouth
- Facial scars caused by injury or accident
