It is a non-surgical, injectable treatment which is eased under the skin using a fine needle to augment, or fill, the soft tissue of the dermis. It is most commonly used to smooth out nasolabial folds—the creases that run from the bottom of your nose to the corners of your mouth, as well as augment and define the borders of the lips providing a smooth, natural look and feel. Does the correction last forever?

No. Correction is temporary; therefore, touch-up injections as well as repeat injections are usually needed to maintain optimal correction.
