Vivian Hernandez, M.D., a board certified plastic surgeon and facial aesthetics expert, offers her patients the
most up-to-date techniques in facial rejuvenation and standards of excellence in surgical skills and patient care.

Dr. Hernandez has hospital privileges at Boca Community Hospital. After her General Surgery training at Cornell University Teaching Hospital, she completed her Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency at the University of Illinois Hospital at Chicago. She refined her training with a fellowship in Aesthetic/Cosmetic surgery at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat hospital. There, she enjoyed working with world renowned plastic surgeons that included Thomas D. Rees, M.D., Sherrel Aston, M.D., Daniel Baker, M.D., Nick Tabbal, M.D. and Michael Hogan, M.D. She further developed her specialized skills with a second fellowship in Cosmetic surgery in Miami under the direction of Thomas J. Baker, M.D., Howard L. Gordon, M.D. and James M. Stuzin, M.D.

Dr. Hernandez specializes in aesthetic/cosmetic facial rejuvenation for women and men, and has dedicated her practice to providing her patients with the latest state-of-the-art surgical techniques and highest quality of medical care.

You will undergo a thorough evaluation by Dr. Hernandez at your initial visit. She will make recommendations based on your exam and goals. Complete facial rejuvenation surgery often requires more than one procedure which may involve different areas of the face, neck, eyes and brows. During your consultation, you are encouraged to share your concerns and expectations with Dr. Hernandez and her staff who will strive to answer all your questions and guide you in the right direction. Mutual trust and communication between the patient and the physician are essential.

Once you have scheduled your surgery, Dr. Hernandez and her staff will be with you every step of the way through your preoperative and postoperative course. A thorough medical history and examination with appropriate laboratory tests will be completed prior to surgery. All surgical procedures are scheduled in our state-of-the-art operating suite which is on the premise. Anesthesia is provided by a Board Certified M.D. Anesthesiologist. Our overnight suite is accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities with Registered Nurse in attendance at all times. After your procedure, Dr. Hernandez will personally attend to your follow-up care.

Fees for aesthetic surgery are customarily paid prior to the surgery. The costs may vary depending on the procedure and/or complexity of the surgery. All costs will be reviewed with you at the time of your initial consultation.
